As an avid birder and now retired, I spend a lot of my time doing bird surveys, looking for interesting birds in my home province of British Columbia, Canada, or travelling to other countries to see new birds and other wildlife. I am rarely without my Canon SLR (currently a 40D) and a Canon 100-400 mm IS zoom lens.
